Dear Canadian Hackney Society member,
With the current restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the cancellation of the Mane Event, the 2021 annual meeting of the Canadian Hackney Society will move to a virtual format. The 2021 annual meeting will be held online at 7:00 PM Eastern on Sunday, May 30, 2021. Registration ahead of time will be required. Those registered will be sent an invitation several days prior to the annual meeting. On the day of the meeting, please join five to ten minutes before the start time to ensure that the web conferencing application has been downloaded and installed prior to the conference call.
All are welcome to attend the virtual AGM. However, only paid members will be eligible to vote at the annual meeting.

RULE CHANGE: The Board is recommending a rule change regarding the use of action devices at competitions. The change would read: The use of chains or rollers as action devices on the competition grounds during or before is prohibited. This change will be presented by John Fullerton and discussed at the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Hackney Society –
